Mantra Gayatri
Mantra Gayatri (ring Sansekerta: गायत्री gāyatrī, sa) inggih punika mantra sané pinih kasub ring Agama Hindu sane kadasarin antuk makudang-kudang ayat saking Rigveda sané kaatributasiang ring sang sawi Wiswamitra. Punika kabaos mantra sané pinih suci ring Weda, buku-buku kuno agama Hindu. Punika prasida kategesang pinaka pangastawan majéng ring dewa Savitr, sane pinaka dewa surya.[1][2] Punika kabaos kidung surya tur sángkaning punika arang pisan kawacen rikala suryané endag lan rikala suryané endag. Wastan mantra punika mawit saking metrik saking ném baitnyané, sané mawasta gayatri.[3]
Mantra punika kakawitin antuk suku kata ajaib Om. Sarengin rumus ajaib bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ, mapaiketan sareng mahāvyahṛti, miwah kapanggihin ring ayat X.14.16 saking Rigveda. Selanturnyane rauh ayat-ayat Rigweda III.62.10.
